When Is Turn of the Tide Season 2 Coming Out? (Release Date)
The director of Turn of the Tide Season 1, Augusto Fraga, has given a statement on behalf of Netflix that for all who have emotionally invested themselves in the lives and the unknown future of Eduardo and his friends, he promises to bring them a fun Season 2.
The announcement of his renewal was quick to come, much to the relief of the fans, in only 3 weeks after the Turn of the Tide Season 1 was aired. This was possible because this show has caught the hearts of the fans and has become one of the top ten shows in just two weeks of its airing. We expect that by May 2024, Netflix might release The Turn of the Tide Season 2.
Turn of the Tide Season 2 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
The story starts in the small village of Rabo de Peixe, where young fisherman Eduardo gets hold of a ton of cocaine while he is minding his own business, fishing, that is. This story revolves around the lives of Eduardo and his three closest friends, Silvia, Rafael, and Carlinhos, and how cocaine and greed changed their lives forever.
Eduardo sets up a business venture based on the cocaine he found. Still, as soon as suspected, he and his friends had to come across dangerous and unpredictable circumstances, and new villains like the police, druglords, and so on started attacking them.
Now the question is, will they be able to push through all of these problems and live their life of dreams? Will they even survive? Will they be put against each other? This fast-paced, suspenseful drama guarantees to keep you hooked till the end.
What Happened at the End of Turn of the Tide Season 1?
A lot happened, so to keep it short, Aruda (Silvia’s dad) killed Rafael. Silvia tries to take revenge with the help of Ze, but in the process, Ze gets killed, and Aruda gets to know that his daughter cheated on him. In turn, he tortures Silvia, and Eduardo saves her by stabbing Arruda to death.
Monti kills Eduardo’s dad. Eduardo makes a deal with Frias to help her get to the mastermind of the entire racket in order to get Carlinhos from Monti. Finally, Eduardo and Carlinhos sail off to the US, with Monti pursuing them while the police are unable to catch them. Silvia is left behind as she discovers that she is pregnant.

What Can We Expect from Turn of the Tide Season 2?
The plot will probably focus on two aspects: Silvia, who did not go to the US because she found out she was pregnant, and Eduardo and Carlinhos, who sailed to the US, whom the police were unable to catch hold of.
The police will most probably go after Silvia in order to gain more information regarding the entire ordeal and try to force her into snitching about where exactly in the US her friends have sailed to.
The plot will probably also follow a hot pursuit between Eduardo and Carlinhos with Monti, who followed them all the way to the US. Season 2 will try to knot the loose ends of Season 1 and show the viewers the fate of the three friends. As usual, the friends would have to lose loved ones and make sacrifices in Season 2 as well.
