Truelove Storyline: What would it be able to be About?
The plot as given by IMDb, might sound simple, but it isn’t. The subject dealt with in this show is very difficult to even talk about let alone show. What happens when a person is old and is leading a life so painful and dull that they begs to die memorably?
They do not want to waste away or die a painful death rather they want to die in a way that people remember them and they create an impact with their death- Something they probably couldn’t do when they were alive.
What was just wishful thinking and a drunkenly made pact between a group of elderly people turns into something quite unexpectedly drastic. What was the pact?
The pact was that instead of letting each other die a slow and peaceful death, they would orchestrate a dignified death. This is one of those shows that will make you question whether murder can be done in an ethical way or not.

Will there be a season 2 of Truelove?
Since Truelove is a TV miniseries, it’s likely that we won’t see a second season of the program.

The Truelove program is moving in a direction that makes it seem like this season will conclude with a provocative and open finish.

Truelove previous episode Recap
The opening scene of Episode 1 is a funeral, and the entire mood is depressing and sad. An old friend of Phil’s who passes away from old age is buried, and Phil, short for Phillipa, is the former senior police head. There, she runs into Ken, an SAS veteran and her former flame.
We learn that Ken is now divorced as they converse about their lives, and they both lament how pointless and dull life is, and that all they can do is wait to die. They soon run across the rest of their pals, and together they toast to the good old days with libations.
Before long, their inebriation leads them to form a “Truelove” contract, in which they plan the death of a group member who is on the verge of passing away from disease.
They would be spared an agonizing death with the aid of this kind of assisted dying. When they return to reality, they forget about this agreement.
But when one of them, Tom, learns that he has cancer in his pancreas, liver, and lymph glands, he only has a month to live.
He asks Phil and Ken to kill him in a planned manner so he won’t have to die a torturous death, and after much back and forth, they comply out of genuine friendship.
In the second episode, Phil and Ken kill Tom and dispose of his body in the sea, causing it to wash up on the shore. Recently, Ayesha Kareem, a young police officer, discovered this body. Ayesha begins an investigation while Phil and Ken make every effort to return to their previous lives.
In Episode 3, Ayesha unearths proof of Tom’s murder, and a friend of Phil and Ken’s group also suffers a grave illness. Marion’s health is failing, and she says she would rather to be killed than to pass away in this way.
Since Tom is one of her pals and Ayesha’s conduct seems strange, she begins to suspect Phil, her mentor, in Episode 4. Ken makes a fresh start with his family while Phil and Ken resume their romance.
