The plot revolves around a man named Bashir Hamed. He came to Canada as a refugee from Syria during the Syrian Civil War. By profession, he is a noble doctor, and he decides to start a new life in Canada as a medical resident.
He has to start his medical training all over again to rise as one of the most talented emergency doctors at the fictional hospital called York Memorial Hospital.
