The actress is lovely, yet she is not suitable for the part. And they have the daughter cursing for some unknown reason. I had my doubts about the pairing of Kim Fields and Mike Epps, but their chemistry is excellent.
As Mike Epps’s brother-in-law, Wanda Sykes is funny. The children are adorable and amusing. I enjoy the half-brother and his mother; they are both beautiful additions to the cast. Overall, I find it surprising that I want this show.
Nevertheless, this concert is quite good. The script is witty and sympathetic, and the performance is superb. The Upshaws is substantially superior to Jamie Foxx’s new program, which I did not enjoy.
