Right now, there is no official announcement from the showmakers about The Chi season 7, since season 6 is still in progress. With a total of 16 episodes, season 6 is split into two parts to be aired separately. Right now, the first part is airing, with the second part scheduled to air later this year.

What Is The Storyline Of The Chi
The Chi is an American drama that focuses on the lives of a group of random people who somehow get entangled with each other after becoming neighbors. As the story progresses, we get to see how they solve their problems and learn to live with each other despite their huge differences.
Having gathered different African-American people at one place, there is a set up in which violence ensues. The main focus of the show is on four people, Ronnie, Emmett, Kevin, and Brandon, when they settle on the South Side of Chicago to lead a peaceful life. But little did they know that their lives were about to take a huge turn from then on.
Kevin is a teenager who witnesses the murder of Jason. Now that he knows who killed Jason, the killer tries to follow him to silence him. Kevin tries everything in his power to avoid the killer, but this starts to complicate his life. In spite of all this chaos, Kevin falls for a girl and tries to befriend her.
Not only Kevin, but other residents of the society are also in danger and have to come together in order to catch the murderer who is still on the loose. With that, the series moves on and shows us the dark, never seen side of Chicago.

I have a recollection of believing that this show would be enjoyable. However, due to some controversy involving actor Jason Mitchell in real life, his character vanished from the show, resulting in a disturbance in the plot. It seems that the show attempted to incorporate numerous themes, which caused each season to become progressively lethargic.
I haven’t completed watching the latest season yet, which shows my dedication. It’s interesting to note that the show features several lesser-known Black actors, which adds to the enjoyment.
Notably, Kandi Burruss from the Real Housewives of Atlanta and the singing group Xscape is a recurring character. I often think about how the show would have progressed if Mr. Mitchell hadn’t been ostracized by Hollywood. The first season was quite enjoyable, but the pace of the last two seasons has been rather sluggish.
