What Is The Storyline Of Stay By My Side Series?

Bu Xia is our lead character who is brought up by his grandfather who is a spiritual medium. However, after his grandfather’s funeral, Bu Xia seems to be hearing voices of ghosts in his ears.

At first, he thinks that he is having hallucinations and tries to seek medical treatment but he becomes surprised when he realizes that the voices inside his head are ghosts trying to talk to him. Jiang Chi is his roommate who is academically and physically good.

He also seems to be the only one who can silence the ghosts in the ear or Bu Xia. Bu Xia tries to approach Jiang Chi but he is shy about it and is all over confused about his feelings. The series is all about how they manage to overcome their challenges and how they build up their romance.

Bu Xia looks at their viral video and finds it cute but two student reporters ruin it for him. They ask the two questions about their love but Jiang Chi gives a very vague answer and says that they live together.

Bu Xia on the other hand feels nervous and gives vague answers. After a heated argument, they lean in for a kiss but Bu Xia wakes up from his dream and is disappointed that the kiss was a dream. In reality, Jiang Chi said all of what he stated was true and left for work.

After some scenes, Bu Xia went to the basketball field but was teased about Jiang Chi. When he reached up to Jiang Chi they end up passionately kissing each other but the episode ends with Bu Xia pushing him away and running off leaving Jiang Chi confused and hurt.
