- The chapter starts off with Frederick calling Eiser and giving him the exact location where Serena might be trapped.
- Serena is shown absolutely weak and her head is aching badly as she asks herself whether Eiser is on his way while still trying to locate her.
- She has an inner conflict wherein she thinks as to why does she want Eiser to be her savior and why does she want to call his name. It’s not like she is starting to have feelings for him… or is she?!
- Suddenly an unknown man hurriedly opens the door and is shocked to find that Serena has still not signed the paperwork.
- The unknown man gets all frantic and starts grabbing Serena’s wrist so tightly that it starts to hurt her.
- It is revealed that the man is scared of Victor and if Serena does not sign the papers everyone who is there in the cabin will die.

- Serena got kidnapped by Victor’s men and was trapped in a secret location.
- Victor shows his anguish towards Serena and admits that he was the one who hired an assassin to kill Serena on her wedding day but Eiser saved her.
- Victor was angry because Serena’s family was responsible for her father’s death his mother’s mental breakdown and his brother’s betrayal.
- Victor was angry that Eiser chose Serena over him and wanted to destroy both of them.
- It was revealed that Victor was the guy who killed Serena’s parents and Serena was shocked to know that Victor was Eiser’s brother.
