Created by Vanessa Coate and voiced by the legendary personality – Tom Hardy, the docu-series consists of a total of five episodes, with each episode delving deep into the lives of different predators from different parts of the globe. The show takes us on an exciting journey into the wild, and we see through their lens the day-to-day survival strategies of the wild beauties!
After receiving a royal welcome from the Cheetahs of Serengeti, we made a visit to the polar bears of Canada’s Hudson Bay to learn more about their ways of life. Soon, we got a call from the lions of Botswana, but that was not the end of our five-day-long journey.
Soon, we found ourselves amidst the unexplored regions of Patagonia, where pumas greeted us with warm hearts. Our five-day-long adventure ended with the wild dogs of Zimbabwe as we geared up to return to our urban lifestyle, leaving behind these beautiful creatures alone once again!
What happened at the end of Predators season 1?
The Season 1 of “Predators” was divided into a series of five episodes. In the first episode of the series, we journeyed our way through Africa’s Serengeti to meet the ferocious Cheetahs!
There we met two Cheetah brothers – Luka and Kovu who were struggling to find a new home for themselves as they lost their birthplace to a destructive bushfire. Did the two males succeed in finding a new shelter for themselves, or did they surrender to their destiny?
In episode 2 of the series, we met the polar bears of Canada, who welcomed us with warm hearts. But, what we experienced, there was nothing sort of a tragedy. Every year due to global warming, the glaciers melt, which results in scarcity of food all around. Determined to feed their families, the polar bears set out on a journey to find food for the great of the year.
Soon after we bid goodbyes to the Polar bears, we took a trip to the Botswana’s Okavango Delta to meet Nikki, the leader of the Matata pride.
A mother and a leader of the clan, Nikki lost her litter recently. Determined to protect her clan from the unknown, Nikki led her family through the untamed regions of the forest as they learned the tactics of survival in the wild.
Episode 4 of the series introduced us to the Pumas of the Patagonia, where Puma’s mother, Rupestre had only four months to teach her children the art of surviving in the unknown. As cruel neighbors approach close to her territory, will the mother be able to teach her children the techniques of defense?
Later, we go on to meet the wild dogs of Zimbabwe in episode 5 of the series. There we were greeted warmly by Violet, the wild dog mother, who birthed a puppy recently. Will Violet be able to teach her puppy the art of hunting and escaping the hyenas?
What can we expect from Predators season 2?
The Season 1 of the “Predators” series explored the lives of the world’s greatest and the most ferocious hunters, as they fight with all their might to maintain a superiority at the hierarchy of the species. Each episode in the first season provided us with a portal, transporting us to the works of the nature’s beasts, as they fight everyday for survival.
