Never Let Me Go follows the bodyguard-turned-lover trope. The series follows Nuengdiao, the rich and prestigious family business heir. Since his childhood, Nuengdiao has never left any room for imperfections and has always obeyed strict family rules.
However, his father is shot right in front of his eyes due to a power struggle between them and the rival family. This turns Nuengdiao’s life upside down and puts him and his mother in grave danger. However, Nuengdiao must continue with his studies at high school.
So to protect him, one of the loyal employees of the Kiattrakulmethee family steps up. Palm is appointed as Nuengdiao’s bodyguard. But when Palm steps into his life, a withdrawn Nuengdiao starts experiencing emotions that he never thought he could.

Never Let Me Go Season 1 summary detailed
Never Let Me Go has just started airing, and season one is a long way from getting finished yet. Till now, only four episodes have been released. The series starts off with a distant and withdrawn Nuengdiao having to look after the family business following the tragic death of his father in front of his own eyes.
He soon realizes that he must look after his mother, too, as both of them are in imminent danger. While looking after the prestigious family affairs, Nuengdiao is also a simple high school student. Meanwhile, Palm, the son of one of the loyal employees, comes to stay with Nuengdiao and his mother.
Palm acts as Nuengdiao’s bodyguard secretly while he is attending high school. We see the two bonding from the very first day of their encounter. Palm opens up a withdrawn Nuengdiao following the trauma of his father’s death. After the two starts to have a bond of friendship, Nuengdiao realises he may feel more than just friends with Palm.
Following an incident at high school, Palm beats Phum and gets expelled from school. Following his expulsion, Nuengdiao feels bad for Palm and decides to help him in his studies. The two pair up for a project and Nuengdiao comes to Palm’s room to study.
Palm is hesitant as his room is untidy and small. But Nuengdiao insists that he feels lonely in his big room and would like Palm to join him sometimes. However, Palm catches him and Ben kissing in the piano room and becomes angry and jealous. But Nuengdiao also sees Palm and Maggie dancing which makes him jealous. He gets drunk and insults Palm for being careless.
