The plotline of My Demon
The hit Korean drama series first premiered on SBS TV on November 24, 2023. While the plot draws attention to the drama, what makes the K-drama special is definitely the chemistry between Do-hee and Gu-won. It follows the common K-drama cliche of contract marriage.
Do Do-hee is the inheritor of the Future Group. She has trust issues and never trusts anyone. She is pretty doubtful about romantic relationships.
Jung Gu-won on the other hand is a demon.. However, the two protagonists’ paths intertwined. He has lost all his devilish abilities. They get involved and make a deal of contract marriage.
Gu-won, the devil can live for eternity. He has lived more than 200 years while making sweet deals with humans. No doubt, those humans live hellish lives. That’s how he looked down upon humans but one day it suddenly changed.
His path becomes entangled with Do Do-hee and he suddenly loses his power. He realised the cause must be connected with her. Now she has been attacked by some other threat. To survive, Do-hee made a contract.
At the same time, he has to protect Do-hee to endure his extinction. Do-hee has been attacked once again, she asks Gu-won to be his guard. Some incidents later they decided to sign a contract marriage.

Do-hee is attacked again when she requests Gu-won to be his guard. The news of the death of the Chairman of Mirae group, Madam Joo Cheon-suk made her feel miserable. She suspects a betrayal and orders Gu-won to search for it. Madam Joo was her adoptive mother.
One incident led to another, Do-hee almost got killed in an accident. Do-hee later gets many marriage proposals as Madam Joo suggests getting married and taking over the company.
She asked Gu-won to marry her but he refused. Fate has other plans, she almost gets killed. After the incident, he agreed to marry her as she is his lifeline. Gu-won and Do-hee settled together.
Things turned hectic when Gu-won was attacked this time. She made a big career move due to the unpredictable dangers surrounding her.
As their relationship was going smoothly, Gu-won felt a fleeting change in his power. He had to make some unpredictable choices. At that moment, Do-hee was attacked once again.

Will There Be a Season 2 of My Demon?
