Lightyear is a computer-animated, 3D action film that was developed by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures in the USA. Toy Story Toons is a spinoff of the Toy Story series that tells the backstory of Buzz Lightyear, the inspiration for Woody and the gang’s beloved Buzz Lightyear toy.
As of its June 17, 2022, theatrical release in RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, and IMAX theatres, it is Pixar’s 26th animated feature film. Additionally, it is the first Pixar movie shot entirely in IMAX.
