Date a Live portrays an exciting story of a particular continent that suffered many earthquakes a long time ago, and now it has resulted in forming some mysterious beings. Despite the fact that it happened a long time ago, it still has its effects.
The anime revolves around a character named Shidou Itsuka, who is known as an average high school student and lives with her younger sister, Kotori. However, it is shown that a random earthquake suddenly begins to hit the town again, and he rushes over to save her, but something unexpected happens after that.
He rushed over to help his sister at that time but caught her in an eruption. He later goes on to discover a mysterious girl who was revealed to be a ‘Spirit’. The mysterious girl was known to be an unexpected entity, and her appearance was used to trigger the random quakes that were happening at that time.
Soon he becomes the main target of the girl and the source between the girl and the Anti-spirit team which is known to be a team having ruthless force and has one main purpose of annihilating the Spirits.
Hence, the story takes a twist of turn when a third party named ‘Ratatoskr’ is introduced and believes in the purpose of saving the spirits over time. Not only this, but Ratatoskr is being commanded by Shidou’s little sister.
Kotori has a certain plan and goes on to recruit Shidou in a forcible manner. The have been said to have fallen for him and thus the fat among e of the world is currently hanging on his shoulders and he is seeking out for the answers about the past and to untie the bond with the Spirits.
