Plotline or storyline of Cold Justice
Former prosecutor, Kelly Siegler re-opens cold cases across the country and aids the regional investigators in solving these challenging crimes and bringing the perpetrators behind them to justice. There is an added layer of challenge to these cases in the form of their age.
Cases that have gone cold often leave a mountain of documents, a pile of evidence and a trail of people who have disappeared, passed or are otherwise indisposed. However, these challenges merely make the process of solving the crime more engaging.

Cold Justice season was greenlit by the Oxygen network earlier in 2023 and the new season will air in the following year.
This comes amid rumours that the show would be dropped after season 6 due to lack of faith on behalf of the studio.
The studio confirmed in an article released back in May that the series would be coming back in 2024 with new episodes. As of now there is no confirmed release date for the season.
However the show is likely to return early next year based on the first episodes of previous seasons which all aired before June of their respective years.

This was the “coldest case ever” on account of being 45 years old (at the time of filming); the case of the disappearance of Billie Jean was opened in July 1977.
In this episode Kelly is accompanied by frequent companion Tonya in this investigation where they reveal what happened behind closed doors all that time ago.
They pieced together the story of an abusive household and a violent husband who was the prime suspect for the disappearance of Billie Jean – only problem was his rock solid alibi.
Eventually they were able to crumble said rock by interviewing every single person involved and assembling an army of witnesses, through whom they were able to mount a solid case.
As always their search did not have any miracles that helped them through this time around, but the team’s perseverance allowed them to see the case through.
