Fans being heartbroken after the departure of Walstead, can look forward to new additions to the cast in this season. His character was written off as getting back together with his ex-fiance and former co-worker Natalie Manning.
There is a new addition to the part of the cast to replace Walstead- Luke Mitchell (an Australian actor who has starred in Big Sky, Blind Spot)
Season 9 Episode 1 titled āRow , Row, Row your boat on a rocky seaā started with the huge question of how the hospital would go on without Will.
But with a new premise, there is a time leap of a few months after the hospital is sold and everything is settled down. We get to see a new doctor starting his new job in the hospital.
Med viewers are delighted to see a similar scene of Maggie running to ER to get to the patients and with a major car-crash accident, the comeback of the medical drama that everyone longed for starts with a bang and dramas starting in the hospital.
