Apple TV+ Upcoming Movies and Series Lineup in January 2023

Apple TV+ has announced a slate of new shows and films that will premiere this winter and in 2023. The January 2023 roster of movies and television shows are certain to delight them. Apple has formally disclosed and acknowledged some of these projects, while the majority have only recently been reported by third-party sources. Apple TV+ Upcoming Movie and Series List in January 2023

1. The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse (Christmas Release)

The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, And The Horse is an animated adaptation of Charlie Mackesy’s best-selling novel of the same name. The narrative follows the odd relationship of a kid, a mole, a fox, and a horse as they search for the house of the boy. It was announced in October 2022 that the novel would be made into an animated short film co-produced by Cara Speller, J.J. Abrams, and Hannah Minghell, with Jude Coward Nicoll as the boy, Tom Hollander as the mole, Idris Elba as the fox, and Gabriel Byrne as the horse. Isobel Waller-Bridge composed the soundtrack for the short film. The short will premiere as an Apple Original Film on Apple TV+ on December 25, 2022, outside the United Kingdom.

2. Servant Season 4

Tony Basgallop created the American psychological horror streaming television series Servant alongside M. Night Shyamalan, who acts as showrunner. The plot of “Servant” focuses on an affluent Philadelphia couple in sorrow following an unthinkable catastrophe that fractures their marriage and allows a mystery entity to invade their house.

Season 4 follows the thrilling conclusion of Season 3 by bringing the Turner narrative to an epic and sad conclusion. The cast includes Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free, and Rupert Grint. Producer and author Tony Basgallop is in charge here. Ashwin Rajan, Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black, and Steve Tisch serve as executive producers with Shyamalan and Basgallop. Taylor Latham and Patrick Markey are co-executive producers.

The situation on Spruce Street, in Philadelphia, and beyond becomes more precarious as Leanne’s dispute with the Church of Lesser Saints escalates. In its last season, the show returned for 10 episodes. On January 13, 2023, the season four premiere will air.

3. Truth Be Told Season 3

Every season of the anthology series Truth Be Told focuses on a fresh criminal investigation. The series is based on Kathleen Barber’s best-selling novel Are You Sleeping. Poppy Scoville-Parnell, portrayed by Octavia Spencer, is a true-crime podcaster who risks everything to discover the truth and bring about justice.

In this season, viewers will get to see the characters navigating through new challenges as they try to make their way forward in life. With strong themes of family and friendship, the show explores various issues such as trust, loyalty and honesty. Season 3 will include Ricardo Chavira, star of Desperate Housewives. He will be a reoccurring character. Ana Ayora, known for her roles in In The Dark on the CW and Captain Marvel in 2019, has also joined the cast in a recurring capacity. The series will launch on January 20, 2022, as an Apple Original Film on Apple TV+.

4. Shrinking Season 1

The planned comedy series Shrinking was developed by Brett Goldstein, Bill Lawrence, and Jason Segel. Emmy Award-winning Ted Lasso co-creator Bill Lawrence, Emmy Award-winning Ted Lasso star, writer, and co-executive producer Brett Goldstein, and Jason Segel wrote the new 10-episode comedy starring Jason Segel.

In the first season of Shrinking, four friends discover a mysterious shrinking ray during a science fair. They quickly find themselves in over their heads as their newfound strength propels them into a variety of adventures and misfortunes. As the story develops, the companions must collaborate to learn how to handle their new abilities and cope with the repercussions. Along the process, they also acquire important lessons on friendship, responsibility, and maturation.

They endure perilous foes and challenging obstacles but finally learn that they can only survive by working together. Also featuring Harrison Ford in one of his first significant television appearances, the first two episodes of “Shrinking” will launch internationally on Apple TV+ on January 27, followed by a new episode every Friday.
