In season two, we see Lily having trouble with her living arrangement. Jorge, her brother, was kind enough to let her live with him and his roommate Nick, but with both of them bringing their partners home, the apartment seems more and more congested, which makes it difficult for Lily to have her own space. Jorge eventually asked her to move out and live with their parents. But here’s the catch. Her parents have an overly active sexual life, which might make her want to wash her eyes with soap.

We could watch how Lily and Nick go through their sudden relationship. I hope Nick finds out that Lily agreed to the connection to get a place to live. Lily needs character development because I still haven’t found anything extraordinary about her.
The third season will also give us an insight into Henry and Jorge because they are a married couple, and an insight into their married life excites me about the series.

It was beautiful to see the incorporation of romantic Love for non-heterosexual couples, but few shows really explore what that entails. Nevertheless, the most important thing I learned from viewing the show was that it could be frustrating for Latino Americans to see so few Latinos on television.
It is time for television networks to keep up with Latino culture, and this is a good start. I’d watch the third season without hesitation. If you want a good laugh occasionally, watch the series. It didn’t seem as funny as the series was advertised. Because I’ve seen better comedies than this one, it paled in comparison. It could have been better series. I wouldn’t say I liked Lily’s character throughout the series, which made it difficult for me to keep going about the series.
She could have been such a great character, but her potential was ruined by her tardiness and unwillingness to do better. I often asked myself if she had to depend on a man to give her shelter. It was indeed getting on my nerves when she began dating Nick solely because she needed to move out of her parent’s house.
Fans love the series. If the ratings were any indication, they are head over heels for the series. However, it went on a spiral when everyone watched how Lily kept going back to Santiago. It was frustrating, not only for me but for most of the watchers of the series. We all hope the series will only develop more character for Lily because she desperately needs it.
