Laufey (pronounced as Lay-vay in English and Lœi:vei in Icelandic) is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter of Icelandic and Chinese heritage who gained prominence for her success as a jazz artist and appreciation from critics for being a successful singer in the music genre which has been declining in the recent years.
