Storyline of Tokyo Ghoul: What is it able to be about?
Tokyo Ghoul is set in a world where there are ghouls who secretly reside among humans and consume human flesh to stay alive. Ken Kaneki, a college student, is the main character.
His meeting with a Rize and getting Rize’s Kagune surgically placed inside him made him a half-ghoul. Kaneki struggles to find a balance between his two identities as he craves human flesh but also wants to keep his humanity intact.
[adinserter block=”3″]
He meets helpful ghouls like Yoshimura, Kirishima, and Hinami and some malicious ghouls like Jason. He is often stuck in the conflicts between the ghouls and the Commission of Counter Ghoul (CCG), a government organization meant to eradicate ghouls.
The overall story introduces us to a lot of gray characters and painful deaths. The story is intense, full of emotional turmoil and intricate character development with a dark and compelling narrative.
What happened at the end of Tokyo Ghoul Season 3?
Unfortunately, the third season of Tokyo couldn’t leave a lasting impact in the minds of the fans. Instead, it left them full of doubts, which made them turn to the manga for explanation.
So the plot of Season 3 starts with Ken Kaneki suffering from Amnesia and thus starting his life as Haise Sasaki and working for the CCG. Ken Kaneki gets his memories back due to the collective efforts of mentors Arima Kishou and Akira Mado.
We are introduced to the Quinx Project, wherein humans are turned into half ghouls in order to fight the real ghouls. These half-ghouls are more potent than real ghouls as they have two Kagune (Ghoul weapons): one natural and the other given by the CCG.

Meanwhile, Kaneki’s former friends want to save him from the CCG, whom they also refer to as the “Dope.” We are introduced to yet another agency; this one is run by the ghoul named Aogiri Tree.
The ghouls are after Ayato’s sister, and he has to save her from the ghouls constantly. There is a climactic scene where Eto Yoshimura attacks CCG, and amidst the chaos, Kaneki recovers from his AmnesiaAmnesia.
After recovering, Kaneki fights a one-eyed ghoul whom CCG previously imprisoned. The season ends with Hinami getting imprisoned by CCG, and Kaneki takes the responsibility of protecting his sister while she is in CCG’s custody.

In the last season of Tokyo Ghoul season 4, we see a happy ending. Kaneki defeats the final bad guy, Furata, and tells him that regardless of the sadness and evil in the world, he would never have chosen Furata’s way of life.
Kaneki sets Rize free as he finds that her body is the core’s energy source. Finally, there is peace between the humans and ghouls. Touka is happily living with her husband, Ken Kaneki, and they have a daughter named Ichika Kaneki.
