The 12 costumes, as per the format of the show this year, were released on December 30, 2023. The costumes for this year’s contestants are Air Fryer, Bigfoot, Bubble Tea, Cricket, Dippy Egg, Eiffel Tower, Maypole, Owl, Piranha, Rat, Chicken Caesar, and Weather.
Air Fryer: Her performance of ‘Kings and Queens’ by Ava Max had Rita Ora in all praises. She suggested it could be model Sophie Dahl. The other judges went for Jessie J. The fans, meanwhile, went for names like Alison Hammond and Lucy Beaumont.
Bigfoot: There were some wild guesses regarding who Bigfoot was. With names like Rupert Grint and Spurs Midfielder James Maddison being associated with the man behind the mask.
Bubble Tea: She sang Madonna’s ‘Material Girl’ and had an impactful performance. Rita went for Heidi Range, Mo suggested Georgia Toffolo and Ross and Davina went for Emily Atack.
Eiffel Tower: Despite the obvious French connection, audiences went for Hannah Wadding and Jane McDonald. Rita Ora and Davina McCall suggested it could be Kim Cattrall or Sarah Parker.
Maypole: The fans guessed names such as Cheryl and Melody Thornton. Davina went for Dido.
Cricket: There were a lot of names thrown around for Cricket. Davina went for Marvin Humes, Ni went for Levi Roots, and Olly and Ross were convinced it was Lemar.
Piranha: Piranha tried his best to throw people off his tail, but fans are struck by the fact that the mystery voice belongs to Danny Jones. The judges, meanwhile, are going for names like Jamie Cullum and Jordan Knight. Some fans even said it was Harry Styles.

What Can We Expect from The Masked Singer UK Season 5?
The Masked Singer UK Season 5 began filming from October 23 onwards; the set of the show is at Bovingdon Studios in Hertfordshire. The panellists remain the same for the new season with Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, and Davina McCall returning in their respective roles.
But Rita Ora will reportedly miss the first few episodes of the season due to conflicting commitments. Rita is also a guest panellist in the American version of the show, where she fills in for Nicole Scherzinger.
She will be replaced by three different guest judges on three different episodes. Charlie Simpson will replace her in the premiere of the season, Olly Murs in the third episode, and previous winner Jennifer Saunders will replace her in the 4th episode.

ITV at first confirmed that presenter and comedian Jonathan Ross, singer-songwriter and actor Rita Ora, actor and comedian Kim Jeong, and television presenter Davina McCall will be acting in the capacity of panellists.
Television presenter Joel Dommett was chosen to be the host of the show. However, due to travel restrictions imposed by the breakout of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kim Jeong couldn’t join the cast from the second season onwards.
Comedian Mo Gilligan was chosen as Kim Jeong’s replacement, and the host of “The Lateish Show” took to the show like a duck to water and has become a permanent member of the panel.

Chicken Caesar: There were a lot of guesses on who Chicken Caesar actually was, with judges putting in names like Popstar, and Robbie Williams to footballers Alan Shearer and Geoffrey Hurst. But the man behind the mask was “Pointless” host Alexander Armstrong.
Weather: After fans voted her out, three out of four judges declared that the face behind the mask was of Dionne Warwick and when the mask was revealed it was none other than the legendary soul artist herself.
