When Is The Big Door Prize Season 2 Episode 1 Coming Out?
‘Season 2 of The Big Door Prize is on the way,’ says Apple TV+ this news was reported by magazines like Variety and Deadline before the release of the fourth episode of Season 1.
We will possibly see season 2 of this show either in March of 2024 or in the middle of 2024. As of yet Season 2 of The Big Door Prize is under production.
Storyline of The Big Door Prize: What it able to be about?
The plot revolves around a fictional small town of Deerfield in Louisiana USA, that seems normal at the beginning but has a secret lurking in the grocery store.
The people of the town were preparing for their bicentennial celebration aka Deerfest When they discovered the secret, it changed their life forever!
What is this secret? It is a peculiar machine named MORPHO Machine( in the book it is DNAMIX that can determine a person’s potential and if the people follow the machine’s advice they can change their future.
All they need to do is put their social security number in the machine(this is the part where you realize it is a fantasy.
No one should give out their social security number like that to anyone, let alone a new unknown machine!), $2 and a cheek swab. This show’s main theme is ‘what lengths a person can go to fulfill their heart’s desire especially when they know what their true potential is.’

What happened at the end of The Big Door Prize Season 1?
In the season 1 finale, we saw Mr. Johnson was rushed to the ER because he had developed Morpho- blue dots on his neck which was deadly and would have killed him. On the other hand, we see the other characters Beau, Jacob, Trina, Dusty, and Cass have a family bonding moment.
There is a bit of romance between Giorgio and Nat. Father Reuben and Hana have an intimate moment but it soon fizzles out when they start arguing about how Father Reuben just wants her to be a part of his sad story and she accidentally blurts out that his father we in law was present with him when Reuben’s MORPHO card was found in the gutter.
Reuben charges her about how she knew this but she played it off. Cass pulled her mom into a hay bale maze and instead of killing her she gave her mom a tight hug. She then leaves Izzy in the maze saying she has been hurt many times by her. While Izzy tries to get out she gets a call from the hospital.
It was regarding Mr. Johnson who was recovering. Izzy was the first person on his emergency contact list, he had no one else there.

What will be going to happen in Season 2 with expectations and spoilers?
This show is directly linked to the book by M.O Walsh so if you have already read the book you are aware of what is going to happen in Season 2. The focus will be on the scary narrow escape made by Mr.
Johnson, after he tried to break the machine, and got sent to the hospital instead as he developed eerie-looking clusters of MORPHO-blue dots on his neck.
He has to find another way to deal with the machine. Dusty and Cass have to part ways if they want to reach their true potential and do something big in life.
Apart from this couple, we will be focusing on mother-and-daughter relationships (Cass and her mom). There is Trina and Jacob as well as Giorgio and Nat.
We will find out more about the mysterious character, Hana. According to her she has already been in a MORPHO Town and she lives with Morpho blue dots on her back, however when the machine develops wings and has a machine printed on its screen as “Are you ready for the next level” this scares even Hana.
It is something that hasn’t even happened in the town from where she came from. Something sinister is set to happen in the town and it is going to be a feast for the fans
