When Is Sweet Home Season 3 Coming Out?
The first season of this series aired in December 2020; after receiving heavy praise from the critics, the makers decided to renew it for a second season. Shooting began earlier this year, and the second season is already scheduled to be launched in the month of December, three years after the premiering of the first season.
What’s more is that fans will be thrilled to know that a third season is already on its way. We are eagerly awaiting the trailer for the second season. Storyline Of Sweet Home
After the death of his parents, Hyun Soo rented an apartment in the greenhouse complex. He was a vastly introverted guy dealing with social anxiety issues and, hence, was heavily dependent on packaged foods. Doubts begin to circulate in his head one night as his food goes missing.
The next day, he encounters a strange incident where he finds a lady walking with the severed head of a cat. Terrified, he tries to flee from the spot but instead finds himself locked in combat with his female neighbor (now transformed into a glutton monster).

He is given a hand by JiSoo, another resident of the apartment. Soon, he is versed with the horrible truth that the building is infested by flesh-eating monsters who have held the ground-floor residents captive in their apartments.
Shortly after this, a man is killed in front of him by a vampire monster. Hyun Soo now finds himself in a thick spot, not knowing what to do next and blaming his late family for his demise.
As if sheltering his life from these creatures already wasn’t a huge reality check, he soon gets bitten by a monster while protecting two orphan twins. Now, the contaminated Hyun Soo finds himself in a moral crisis as the urge to give in to his dark side slowly starts to cave in.
What happened at the end of Season 1?
In the last episode of the first season Ui-Miyeong and Hyun Soo were seen bonding emotionally over their shared trauma of carrying a monster inside them selves.It has been revealed in the ninth episode that Ui-Miyeong was also bitten by a monster.
As the battle between the residents and the Goo monster ensues,Mieyongah vents his feelings to Hyun Soo Stating that the coexistence of humans and monsters is unthinkable. After the gang successfully slay the monster,Sang Wook tries to assist Yu-Ri by taking her to hospital.

But in vain as their decision to leave agitates Ui Miyeong to shoot two survivors to instill fear in their mind. Finally when the survivors are allowed to leave, they get divided into groups, some join the military others stand firm against them. Meanwhile an unconscious Hyun Soo wakes up in the back seat of a military car.

What fan can we expect from Sweet Home season 3?
The storyline of the series has already differed vastly from the original plot, so it will be worth the wait to see what additional changes they have planned. Already in the first season, we have witnessed many prominent characters from the webtoon are missing. Instead, they have introduced some of their own characters.

Many fans(including me) are not happy with this decision as it has hampered the basic essence of the story, but the core remains more or less unchanged. Anyways, coming back to the original story, we have been shown in the preceding season that Hyun Soo is not doing a great job at fighting his inner demons triggered by his infections.
At this point in the story, he is no less than a ticking bomb, about to go off any second. However, there’s still one rudimentary solution left: the sweet home song. That musical piece seems to have a magical effect on his nerves, bringing him back every time he lashes out. We will have to find out what happens in the next season.
