During this new era, a fifteen-year-old girl named Anne Halford, who is a candy maker, aspires to make the ideal Sugar Apple and follow in her mother’s footsteps to become a Silver Sugar Master, a title bestowed only by Royalty and considered to be extremely prestigious.
In order to achieve her ambition, Anne needs to go to Lewiston, where she will participate in the sculpting festival, the Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Contest and aspire to earn a medal from the royal family.
Although Anne is ready to pursue her destiny, she is aware of the many dangers that could befall her on this journey.
Thus, she purchases a fairy named Shalle Fen Shalle, a warrior with extraordinary combat capabilities but is a foul-mouthed fairy who despises humans due to their superficial attitude towards them and for how they are treated as nothing more than property meant to fulfill the needs of humans.
Anne ponders over whether she should free Shalle or use him as her bodyguard to protect her throughout the dangerous journey, and so she aims to build a friendship with her new travel partner in the process so they can become close as the voyage goes on.

What Happened at the End of Sugar Apple Fairy Tale Season 2?
When Anne accompanies Lusul along with two other fairies to aid Shalle, Lusul swipes Shalle’s wing away from Lafalle, giving Shalle the opportunity to defend himself.
As Hugh and his soldiers charge forward and close in, Lafalle is believed to have died, and Shalle takes control of the wings, giving them back to the fairies and releasing them.
With ten days until the Sugar Confectionery exposition commences, the craftsmen at Holly Leaf Castle have completed all the planned confections with assistance from Kat, Jonas, and Keith. Anne and Shalle return with Anne opting to prepare more sweets just in case.

Followed by Bridget relaying to Anne the message that her marriage with Elliot has been dissolved as Glen agrees to crown Elliot his successor without marriage. At night Shalle discloses to Anne that he and Lafalle were born out of the stones collected by Riselva to give birth to the next fairy king.
