I would still watch the next new season, but I want to see a return to the previous storylines’ quality so that fans like me would feel at home while watching. The actors are quite impressive. I do not doubt that they gave their best effort.
The woman portraying Captain Burnham is outstanding; she is engaging and immerses the viewer in the situation. She is very Kirk-like, which is probably why I appreciate her; she occasionally goes against the current quo to do what is right. This demonstrates that you must sometimes speak up for your values.
