What Is The Storyline Of Special Ops Lioness Season 2?
Special Ops: Lioness is a special story focusing on the Lioness project. The main protagonist of the story is Joe, a CIA officer. She is in charge of the said project, but things are not easy for her as she has to manage her personal life alongside it.
Her family members include her husband, who does not seem interested in her, and her small kids, who require her attention. At the start of her mission, she had to sacrifice one of her executives to save her mission, which made her attracted to one of the new recruits when she returned home.
Cruz Manuelos, the new recurit, had to escape her abusive boyfriend to join the Marines. When she first met Joe, she found her very daring and was inspired by her. Even though both found the other interesting, they both seem wary of each other.
Joe thought that she had found her next Lioness in Cruz, but she will be sure only if she gets to talk to and work with her properly. With the help of special undercover agents, women in The Lioness Project infiltrate terrorist groups and criminal gangs to gather information and execute specialized surveillance missions.
As Joe is in charge of this dangerous project, she will have to hide it from her husband while also training the women. Will Joe be able to handle her life professionally and personally well?
What We Can Expect From Special Ops Lioness Season 2?
We will be expecting Special Ops: Lioness season 2 to have at least 8 episodes following the first season. Each episode will be about 40 minutes long and will be as thrilling as the ones in the first season. In the second season, we will expect Joe to open up to the people around her and communicate better with them.
We will also be expecting Cruz to be a trained lioness, ready to take up the dangerous mission in front of her and tackle it perfectly.
We are hoping that season 2 will have an exciting story and will wrap up with a great story enough to receive another sequel or maybe a spin-off. The cast members of Special Ops: Lioness shared their excitement regarding any possible sequel and how they are eager to show them what happens next.
What Happened At The End Of Special Ops Lioness Season 1?
So far, in Special Ops: Lioness season 1, we have been introduced to some firee ladies who are training to take up the most dangerous undercover missions for their country. With the increasing closeness between Aaliyah and Cruz, Cruz takes on a mission.
She arrives at Aaliyah’s spot, where the Lioness team is backing her up and listening to whatever happens with her. With Joe closing on Aaliyah’s wedding, the Lioness team was ready for the action. Since the only two possibilities were success or failure, Joe decided to take the chance.
If she failed to attack the target, then Joe had full rights to call a drone to finish the job perfectly. What will happen with Aaliyah is yet to be known in the upcoming episode. Right now, six episodes from Special Ops: Lioness season 1 have been made public. With eight episodes listed in this season, we are expecting it to end on September 3, 2023.
