Serena Plotline
Serena, or pronounced Selena in the native language (세레나), is a historic Korean manhwa that tells us about the intertwined fates of three people and how they fight to keep their high-profile positions amongst the rising opposition and hurdles.
The main focus of the story is our female lead, Selena, who lives in Wellenberg, Meuracevia, in the 19th century. As the sole daughter of the Serenity family, she had been declared its heir and given the Serenity hotel to manage and grow. The Serenity Hotel is a one-of-a-kind hotel in the nation and is famous for its amazing service. But now it is on the verge of collapsing.
To maintain the Serenity hotel’s dignity and Selena’s position, her grandmother married her to Eiser, the most hated man in the kingdom, as Selena does not know a thing about running a hotel business. But Selena does not consider him her husband because she doesn’t like him and thinks that he killed her family.
Running a hotel and managing a loveless marriage at the same time is quite difficult. Amid all this, the only solace that Selena has is her lover, Fredrick, her stoic and handsome servant.
