Storyline of Sasaki and Peeps: What is it able to be about?
The story of Sasaki and Peeps is based on a light novel written by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku. Sasaki was approaching his early 40s and was experiencing a midlife crisis.
Sasaki instantly had an idea to buy a bird from a pet shop and coincidentally found an intriguing sparrow that captivated his curiosity. TheD sparrow is an old man from a different world named Piercarlo who has reincarnated in our world as a sparrow.
However, Sasaki doesn’t realize it and names the bird “Pi-chan” (in Japanese) or “Peeps” (as in the English subtitles). Accidentally Sasaki ends up making a contract with the bird where Peeps gives him half of its power and teleports him to a different world, to a remote city named Baytrium. He can teleport back to his world anytime he wants to.
He slowly starts enhancing his psychic skills given by Peep and starts taking things from his world to gift them to the king of the other world to get more popular and his plan works!
For once he feels that now his 40s would be fun and easy to live by but as we all know with new power comes new enemies! Sasaki needs to fight for his survival by mastering the powers given to him. Will he be able to do so? To know more you have to watch Sasaki and Peeps!

Season 1 of Sasaki and Peeps will set a premise and introduce all the main and important characters of the anime. Sasaki wants to escape his boring life and his wishes do come true but at what price? The price is his peace because every day he has to face something new.
Either in his world or the dream world. In a very funny way, this anime is self-aware! It knows that though its concept is not the same as most of isekai anime it is somewhat ‘similar’ and so it addresses it via our protagonist in the very first episode. Overall Season 1 looks very promising and if you are already a fan of light novels then this will become your favorite anime!

Sasaki and Peeps Episode 3 Spoiler
Episode 3 of Sasaki and Peeps goes into the depths of the city of Baytrium. The other world isn’t as simple as Sasaki thought it to be. In the last episode, we see Sasaki missing peeps terribly but Hoshizaki stops him from leaving and takes him for dinner.
Here she confesses that she is a minor and Sasaki feels awkward! So we will get to see more of Sasaki and Hoshizaki funny banter and the wholesome moments between Peeps and Sasaki.

Sasaki and Peeps Episode Recap?
The first episode starts with Sasaki, our protagonist, living his daily boring life. He feels that his life meaninglessly goes on, and he is approaching his 40s without having achieved anything significant.
He suddenly decides to go to a pet shop to cure his loneliness. Here in the pet shop, he finds a sparrow, and he decides to buy it. Before buying it, he named it “Peeps.”
We hear the sparrow’s monologue on how he used to be a storage in his world but got reincarnated as a sparrow in Sasaki’s world, but Sasaki does understand Piercarlo and calls him Peep instead (this part was super funny as Peeps gives him a side eye).
At night, Sasaki talks to the peeps, and all of a sudden he makes a contract with them. Peeps grants him a fraction of his power and the power to teleport from the real world to the fantasy world, the city of Baytrium.
While exploring, Sasaki realizes that he has powers and tries to gain control of them. He also notes that, though it is a magical world, people are not familiar with technology.
His clever mind immediately decides to earn profit by selling things from his world to this new world, aka a cross-world trade! (Sasaki has brains!) Just as he thought he could live the best life in both worlds.
There are a variety of characters who do not want him to be at peace and constantly get in his way.

Sasaki and Peeps will be getting an English dub, it has been confirmed by the creators. However, the date is yet to be fixed for the release of the English dub. It is expected by the end of January we will be getting an English dub on Crunchyroll.
So fans who like to watch their anime with an English dub need to wait for a few days to get an English dub. The cast of the English dub has not yet been specified by the studio.
Will There Be a Season 2 Of Sasaki and Peeps?
The studio is yet to release any news regarding the second season of Sasaki and Peeps. Right now Sasaki and the Peeps is on Season 1 episode 2 with Episode 3 releasing next week.
It is expected that by the end of 2024, we will get updates regarding the Second season of Sasaki and Peeps. It will be packed with more action and magic and Sasaki needs to up his game to live his life in real life and the other world.
