After four years of season 1, we got a hint that the Japanese anime series Saga of Tanya The Evil might be renewed for a next season. We don’t have any official confirmation as of now. It is expected that the new season will be launched in the end of 2023 or, starting of 2024.
Fans of the anime series have been waiting for so long and now finally the time has come. Back in 2017, after completion of the first season, a season 2 trailer was released, from then we all have been waiting eagerly.

What Is The Storyline Of Saga of Tanya The Evil Season 2?
Ever heard of the term ‘Reincarnation’. I guess most of you have come across this term once in a while. In most reincarnation cases, people from the past reborn in the body of someone’s living in the present.
In our story, Tanya has also undergone reincarnation but in her case it is different. In the present year of 2013, in Tokyo an anonymous nihilist corporate worker is on the verge of getting murdered by a low rank officer.
The employee wants to kill him because he was fired by him. At this very moment, he is approached by a figure who proclaims himself as God. As the worker is a disbeliever of God, he mocks and calls him ‘Being X’.
Hence, he punishes the worker by reincarnating into someone else and sends him to a place where conditions will be such that he will have to look upon God for help. And thus believe God the Almighty. The story now returns to a year, where we see a military world, termed as ‘Empire’.
The person finds himself in a body of a girl, an orphan herself. The conditions as mentioned previously by X were, that she should have a natural death and show faith in it else she will be sent to hell to repent for her previous spirit’s sins. Hence, she enrolls in Empire’s Mage Corps and helps fight in this war.
Which arc is Season 2 going to cover?
We are not really sure about the arc now, since no official confirmation has been made regarding the season 2 of the series. But, it is expected that the major arc will be focused on the Empire’s fate in the next season. There might be a transition in Empire’s look out.

The story is expected to start from where it ended last time in the earlier season. The next season will determine where the Empire stands out in the future. From the trailer, we can expect an unexpected turn, in the next season our girl might be kicked out from the team.
Well, the reason is solely due to enforcement of unethical techniques on the battlefield which has led to an increase in the Empire’s enemies. And one of them has a plan to correct this, according to whom if a single team member which is Tanya is dismissed from the team then things can go back to normal.

Tanya starts thinking of a mischievious plan termed as ‘Operation Desert Pasta’. In the end, the mission is a success and the gang is finally able to taste a delicious pasta alongwith a sip of wine.
