Delphi, Indiana’s Monon High Bridge was where the bodies of Abigail Williams and Liberty German were discovered in February of 2017. The killings of the girls, who were attacked while out trekking, have never been solved. The murder investigation, now widely publicized as the “Delphi Murders,” has captured the attention of the entire country. However, despite receiving thousands of tips, investigators have been unable to solve the case.
What Is Delphi Murder Case?
Authorities believe Allen is responsible for the deaths of two missing teenage girls, 14-year-old Liberty “Libby” German and 13-year-old Abigail Williams, whose bodies were found on a hiking trail on February 14, 2017. Mr. Allen’s age at the time of the murders was estimated to be 44.
For years, police have refused to explain what happened or why the girls died, and they have released only limited information about the murder scene. According to the agent’s disclosure in the warrant, the girls lost “a lot” of blood during their murders, and their killer is suspected of moving and staging their bodies before removing a keepsake.
The warrant included the chilling detail that the teens had been murdered with a firearm. In order to protect national security, the word “weapon” was crossed out of the report.
“a large amount of blood was spilt by the victims at the crime scene,” thus the killer would have been covered in it after the killings.
Who Is Richard Allen?
For the past 16 years, Richard Matthew Allen has called the Delphi neighborhood home. Suspicion of murder has been placed on Richard Allen. Abby and Libby went missing on the Monon High Bridge Trail, which is located about 2.5 miles from Allen’s home. Allen has never been convicted of a crime. Two speeding tickets were discovered by WRTV: one from 2011 in Jasper County and another from 2005 in Fulton County.
According to Indiana’s official records, Richard Allen has a valid license to work as a pharmacy technician there. He has until June 30, 2024, before his pharmacist’s license will lapse. Allen’s pharmacy license is still active, and there have been no disciplinary actions taken against him by the state’s pharmacy board.

Delphi killings Investigation
There will be a hearing to examine whether or not the public records for the man who is charged in the killings of Liberty German and Abigail Williams in 2017 should be unsealed prior to the trial.
The hearing to unseal the records pertaining to Richard Allen has been scheduled for the 22nd of November, according to the documents filed in the court.
On Wednesday, twenty days before the hearing is scheduled to take place, the notice of hearing was filed, and a public notice was also put on the wall inside the Carroll County Courthouse.
His Criminal Records Before Delphi killings!
Prior to making the move to Delphi in 2006, Allen had been a resident of Mexico, Indiana. According to the station, he has lived in the same house ever since, and it is located in close proximity to the paths where the two girls were found.
It also seems that Allen does not have any history of criminal activity. In the past twenty years, he had received three traffic tickets, but he had never been late in paying his fines.
