Simply put, “rap” is just a term.” After hearing that line, I knew I had to see this film again, and I have done so many times. Each time I read it, I pick up on new meanings. The fact that working musicians are featured in the film to give their thoughts on “When they first fell in love with Hip Hop” is a bonus. For some reason, “Brown Sugar” really hit home with me. Positively, 100% true.
