What Is The Storyline Of Pokémon Horizons?
Liko arrives at Indigo Academy to further her education. She is bashful and wears a pendant that could have far-reaching implications for the series. She chose her Pokemon, Nyahoja, challenging.
Therefore she and Nyahoja don’t get along. Soon after she arrives, a stranger hands her a forged letter from her grandma instructing her to deliver the pendant. Finding it suspicious, she flees, pursued by Amethio, the guy who brought the letter, and his men.
Friede transforms into a pleasant character and saves Liko by transporting her aboard an airship. She begins to have faith in his team. Amethio and his team persevere in their hunt and eventually get to the airship, where, after a battle with Friede, Amethio departs with Nyahoja. They decide to return to Nyahoja and attack the explorers, where Friede delays Amethio long enough for Liko to save Nyahoja.
Hugator’s departure is noticed by Liko and Nyahoja, who follow him down near Roy, another essential character in the anime. Pokemon attack them immediately, but Roy saves them with his old Pokeball, which resonates with Liko’s pendant.
Roy, unable to let go of Hogator, pays a visit to him at the airship but cannot locate him, leaving in the morning. Hogator locates Roy and discovers that Amethio is aware of their location.
Soon after, Roy joins them in their fight against Amethio, but Amethio obtains the upper hand against Liko. When a Pokemon Rayquaza is freed from the Pokeball, the connection between the pendant and the Pokeball is eventually revealed.
They practice and eventually find the legendary Pokemon, Rayquaza, hovering over Paldea, Liko’s hometown. She returns to her house, prompting her Pokemon to become distant, but she soon decides to join the group rather than stay with her family.
What Can We Expect from Pokémon Horizons Season 2?
The adventures will continue. We might get a greater insight into the pendant and the ancient Pokeball. There could be a more significant connection between the two, a readily available option for us to make out, or a hint we missed in the first season. As simple as Pokemon is, it is also a very unique series.
Since Amethio is no longer a part of the explorers, we could either get his redemption arc or watch how he alone tries to destroy or steal the pendant from Liko.
Liko and Roy’s bond could also be seen strengthening. They share one thing in common; we can see them understand and sympathize. Apart from that, we can also watch Liko become better with Nyahoja.

This program has many positive qualities. Firstly, it has a plot and introduces many intriguing mysteries, preferable to the constant padding viewers endured in the original anime. Consequently, this program is also less stupid and corny!
The two-episode premiere is dull, and the plot twist needs to be more abruptly executed. The show’s continued mediocrity is because the creators have stretched a single episode’s worth of material across three episodes. However, by Episode 12, story-related issues have been resolved; although the episodes occasionally drag, this is made up for when the story returns to its central enigma!
This will undoubtedly appeal to children, as it has a relaxed, adventurous vibe! If you’re a teen or adult revisiting the anime, it will be evident that this is a children’s show; however, you won’t leave cringing, as the story could be better and has a pleasant adventure-y vibe. Possibly I am biased because I am a devotee of Pokémon (the games, not the anime), but it is a refreshing and intriguing change.
