My Tiny Senpai follows the life of a young man in his twenties, Takuma Shinozaki, who has started his new job as an office worker. Although he struggles at first to cope with the new environment surrounding him, he is soon met by the senior member of team A, Shiori Katase, who is an adorable, kind-hearted, and diminutive individual and works for the Product Development division, which is the same as Shinozaki.
Katase takes Takuma under her wing and aids him in all his daily duties to adapt and grow comfortable in the new office environment. In the process, she coddles and pampers him as much as possible so he feels relaxed whenever he is at work.
Enchanted by her adorable antics and infatuated by her appearance and behavior towards him, Takuma struggles to maintain this professional relationship with his mentor because he longs for the day when he can express his true feelings for her and hopes that they will be reciprocated in the process.
But he fears that Katase is just caring for him as a new employee, and her being a senior employee in his team is showing him professional courtesy while helping him fit in and learn the ropes of the trade.
What Happened at the End of My Tiny Senpai Season 1?
The final episode of My Tiny Senpai aired on 1st October 2023, titled “A Story About the Tiny Senpai Where I Work.” The final episode begins with Shiori being drunk and teases Takuma in a playful manner by suggesting they do something “naughty.” As a result, Takuma starts blushing, but then they both enter a restaurant and begin devouring Ramen.
This is what Katase was hinting towards earlier and teases Takuma by asking whether he thought of something else. The following day, when Katase sees a coworker, she teases her colleagues about going out to lunch together. However, things change when Shinozaki enters and tells Katase that he is ready to go for lunch.
When the Meowtaro game is finally ready, Aiko asks Shinozaki to play it. During the game, characters go through a confession level that prompts Shinozaki and Katase to reflect on the conversation they had on the rooftop.
At the time, they both misinterpreted what each other meant, but Katase has since realized the true meaning, while Shinozaki was convinced he had been rejected.
Katase and Shinozaki later walk back together and express their feeling of being more than coworkers and becoming friends.
After that, at lunch, the office workers ponder on how they have never taken a trip together, which inspires Shinozaki and Katase to visit the theme park as they are unable to make other plans since they have never had friends of the opposite gender.
They dine, explore, and have a great time at the amusement park, and Katase advises Shinozaki that they should take a photo to preserve the memory of their first trip together.
