Marry My Dead Body 2 Plot
Marry My Dead Body, Taiwanese name Kuan Yu Wo Ho Kuei Pien Cheng Chia Jen Te Na Chien Shih (关于我和鬼变成家人的那件事), with literal translation The Ghost and I Becoming Family, is a supernatural comedy mystery movie. It centers on the relationship between a homophobic cop and a male ghost.
Wu Ming Han is a police officer and a straight homophobic guy. One day, while on his usual duty, he gets involved with an old lady who ropes him into marrying his grandson, who died in a car accident. She tells him that he will have to marry his grandson in order to avoid any misfortune.
At first, Wu Ming Han avoids it, saying it is all nonsense, but then he comes across a red wedding envelope, which in fact is that of the dead grandson the old lady was talking about.
And so Mao Pang Yu, the ghost of the guy who died in a car accident and Wu Ming Han start living together after Ming Han, messes up a drug cartel case due to his misfortune. The only way for Wu Min Hang to get rid of his “ghost husband” is to find the perpetrator of the car accident in which Mao Mao died.
In part 2, we will see Wu Min Hang go from becoming a himophobic guy to a gay person who tries to fill the absence of Mao Mao by getting deeper into his work.

Wu Ming Han has always hated the LGBTQ+ and criticized them but never in his dream ever thought that he will have to marry a guy and get a husband, let alone turning into a gay by the end.
Wu Ming Han, a police officer, inadvertently picks up a red envelope while investigating a drug case. Following that, he enters into a ghost marriage with Mao Mao, a gay man who passed away in a car accident when he was discussing his marriage. Mao Mao’s grandmother and Mao Mao himself desire that he get married.
When Mu Ming Han refuses to marry him, his grandmother tells him that he will get into misfortune if he does not marry Mao Mao. Min Hang first ignores it but when his anti-drug case goes wrong, he gives it a second thought, even though he has his own doubts.
And then, after a long series of misfortunes, Ming Han reluctantly accepts marriage and so the spirit of Mao Mao appears. He then helps Mao Mao complete his final wishes and to help him reincarnate, with Mao Mao helping with his investigation because the only way to get rid of Mao Mao is to find his killer.
Over time, both of them developed an understanding of each other and accepted each other. By the end, Mao Mao gets his wish fulfilled and he gets reunited with his father.
