Jack Wagner, born on October 3, 1959, is currently aged 63 and is an American personality known for his roles in movies and series, as well as his music.

Rumors of Jack Wagner leaving the show started when the actor’s younger son, aged 27, died on June 6, 2022, in Los Angeles.
His son apparently died of a drug overdose, though the toxicity report is still pending. Fans thought that Jack Wagner would not get over it and leave his role as Bill Avery.
But now you will be able to see Jack Wagner back in the show in its new season, which started airing on July 30, 2023.
A scholarship fund for the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund was announced by Jack and his ex-wife, Kristina, as a tribute to their son, who struggled with addiction.
These funds will specifically assist young men whose care at New Life House would otherwise be unaffordable in paying their rent or a portion of their rent.

He got married to Kristina Wagner, an actress who played the opposite role in General Hospital, and had two sons with her. They later divorced in 2006 over some differences, while his younger son (born in 1994) died in 2022 in Los Angeles.
In 2011, he started dating Heather Locklear, her love interest in Melrose Place. They got engaged in August 2011 but called it off after three months.
From 2013 to 2015, he dated Ashley Jones. Currently, Wagner is single after the death of his younger son.

Season 10 of When Calls The Heart was announced and scheduled in July, 2023. Amidst the filming of the show, Jack Wagner and Kristina Wagner’s younger son died of an drug overdose on June 22, 2022. This left a huge gap in Wagner’s’ life, and he was really devastated for his son.
Though it was not officially announced, fans assumed that after this huge blow in his personal life, Jack will not return for filming and hence will be replaced in his role as Bill in When Calls The Heart. Even his co-stars from the series left sympathetic messages for him.
Jack, however, came out of his depression and announced to fans that he would indeed return. His co-stars again supported his comeback and cheered alongside his fans.

Will Jack Wagner Return For The Bold and the Beautiful or General Hospital?
Now that it has been confirmed that Jack has resumed his activities and is returning to the set of When Calls the Heart, we can expect him to return for his other roles too.
