This anime is one of my favorites right now. I was a little put off at first because the animation is reminiscent of earlier styles, and I don’t usually go toward those kinds of shows. But I decided to give it a shot, and it turned out to be a pretty charming production.
This is a comfortable anime that you can unwind to. Having watched a lot of isekai, I can tell you that while the beginning is a traditional one, how they are going about it is refreshing. The entire children’s part appeals to me.
This is not the book for you if you search for a sophisticated plot with twists and turns. Though somewhat predictable, it is endearing in its simplicity. I’ve read a few of the manga series. Compared to the manga, the show is a step down in quality. If you are interested in manga, I highly recommend it.
