What Is The Storyline Of High Desert Season 2?

The show’s setting is in Yucca Valley, California, where our protagonist attends her mother’s funeral. Being an addict for most of her life by quitting and relapsing multiple times, she decides to leave behind drugs once and for all and begin a new chapter in her life to find her true purpose.

While looking at different jobs and thinking of them as not exciting fields of work, she finds out she is the best fit to be a private detective. However, she must possess the skills or qualifications to be good.

After deciding to be a private detective, she looks for an outfit that suits her new goal of getting a job. After getting rejected initially, she convinces the recruiter to give her the job.

This leads the show into circumstances where our protagonist is a horrible investigator. For example, she manages to totally let a kidnapping take place in front of her eyes as she is occupied with parking her car.

While I can’t watch Ben Stiller on screen, he’s doing a fantastic job as executive director! As usual, the incredibly talented Rupert Friend is outstanding. As Lullaby for Pi and Hitman: Agent 47 demonstrates, his acting is so variegated that it is difficult to distinguish him from one role to the next.

His American dialect is impeccable, and he is appropriately vapid, hair flipping, etc. Interestingly humorous for such a serious actor. After observing the first fifteen minutes, I still determine what is occurring. Is this a drama or a comedy? I have no clue.

I have yet to learn who these characters are and how they are connected. The wording could be better. The dialogue is juvenile. It appears that the director was under the influence while filming this. The characters are thrown into situations without any explanation or setup.
