Gluttony Berserk Season 2 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?

Fate Barbatos (Fate Graphite) has never tasted true power. He was born with the magical gift of Gluttony and has been despised and looked down upon his entire life.

One day, while serving as a gatekeeper for a noble family, he confronted a trespassing thief; there he realized Gluttony’s ultimate power: when he kills someone, he devours their skills and finally feeds his gnawing need.

Fate awakens to his true ability as a result of that gruesome realization. How many lives will he consume to satiate his desire, and is the world prepared for the terrifying warrior he’ll become? The premise is quite interesting which has attracted multiple fantasy/ anime lovers all around the world.

What Happened at the End of Gluttony Berserk Season 1?

As of now, episode 7 of Gluttony Berserk season 1 has been released, and so in this post we will discuss episode 7 “A Knight in his Twilight” or “The Twilight Swordsman”: Fate and Myne (the owner of Wrath Sin) visit Hausen village.

As he clearly uses his might inefficiently (Since it is all too new for him), the chief, retired holy knight Aaron Barbatos (holy knight, previously the head of the Barbatos Family), offers Fate training. Fate returns to Hunger-Boost and discovers demons within Hausen Castle.

Fate inquires about the palace after he and Aaron have completed his training. Aaron reveals that he originally owned the castle, but the Lich Lord (crowned beast) murdered his wife and son, who now lives there.

Aaron decides to fight Lich Lord with Fate, while Myne defends the hamlet in exchange for cash. Inside, they discover Aaron’s reanimated family, and his son Rook confronts him for failing to protect them. Fate cannot intervene because his killing them will consume their innocent souls.

Instead, he destroys Lich Lord with Rook’s sword, liberating their souls while merely consuming Lich Lord. (This was a genius move played by Fate). Aaron pays Myne, who claims to be raising funds to rebuild Galia.

Due to this encounter, Aaron recalls a meeting he had with Myne in his youth 50 years ago. Myne verifies she is considerably older than that, as she is cursed with immortality. Meanwhile, Rafale and Memil successfully find the Philosopher Stone, bringing immortality one step closer.
