Reviews

While I’ve seen other sci-fi shows like The Returned, the French version, and countless more, compared to the rest, this one is the best. The gloomy, engaging, and gorgeously shot opening episode immediately establishes the tone for the rest of the series. Brilliantly staged shots of the ‘corpses’ emerging from their tombs. Ned Dennehy’s performance as Paddy Fitzgerald, Ireland’s most remarkable, was the film’s highlight for me. Like John Doe, Rodger Corser radiated heat throughout the film, although his character might have benefited from further development. Particularly impressive are Patrick Brammall, Genevieve O’Reilly, and Emma Booth. As much as I enjoy it, the following season is already on my radar.

However, with the release of shows like Westworld and Stranger Things, Glitch has been overshadowed.
