Girlfriend, Girlfriend is a romantic comedy anime about the many different ways to be in love. The story is centered on Naoya Mukai, a high school student who has long harbored feelings for his childhood friend Saki Saki. At last, he plucks up the courage to declare his feelings for her and is even more surprised when she returns them.
Naoya lives with Saki in high spirits and takes every opportunity to keep the flame of their relationship aloft.
But a change comes when another girl from Naoya’s class, Nagisa Minase, confesses to him. Although he turns her down politely, Naoya is drawn to Nagisa’s charm and determination to chase him.
In order to satisfy both girls’ wishes, Naoya comes up with an unconventional idea of dating them simultaneously. Both Saki and Nagisa happily accept his offer. This is the story of their bizarre relationship and how they cope with its challenges.
One of the more exciting aspects of this anime is how it deals with polyamory. It examines the concept of liking many people at once and whether it is legitimate to love. The anime also explores the complexities of jealousy and insecurity and how good communication can conquer these obstacles.
In the story, this threesome is stuck in a series of wacky and funny situations as they attempt to hide their relationship from friends and family and compete for affection between themselves- their differences eliciting bouts of jealousy- all while trying not to fall apart. This anime is like a roller coaster of feelings- funny, romantic, and tragic.
What Happened at the End of Kanokano Season 2?
this episode, Shino is stranded butt-naked with Naoya on an unknown island (A very ideal situation). She gets overwhelmed and gets on top of Naoya and kisses him! But then she gets flustered, and when Naoya asks why she kissed him, her ‘Top-ranked student brain’ stops working! She is about to confess, but she realizes that Naoya saw her naked, and she runs off behind a tree and consoles herself by saying her love will never bear fruit.
She gets a fever, and Naoya takes care of her. Now, the other girls are trying their best to look for Shino and Naoya.
Naoya, on the other hand, crossed a big part of the sea with Shino on his back to get help for her. Saki finds both of them, kisses Naoya, and expresses her relief. Rika shows jealousy, while Nagisa shows appreciation for that kiss. Shino is heartbroken.
Shino decides to change schools, and everyone is shocked. She made that decision for Saki. But Saki starts fighting Shino, which makes Shino emotional, and she runs away. Rika knows Shino’s feelings and tries to console the crying Shino. Shino bids Rika and us goodbye.

Which Studio is making Kanokano?
Tezuka Animations created Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 1, while SynergySP created Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 2. Both studios tried to stay true to the source, which is the manga written by Hiroyuki.
