EmazingLight Gloves is an amazing product launched by the EmazingLights company that produces toys for EDM shows and music festivals—you know, to light up the night! These gloves looked super cool and were deemed a must-carry when going to a rave party, EDM night, or any fun music festival.

For many, he is the face of the emigrant hustle (because he emigrated from China). He comes from a very humble background, where his parents had a donut shop where he helped regularly as a kid.

EmazingLights Gloves owner Brian Lim appeared on SharkTank season 6 episode 22 on March 13, 2015. Brian Lim’s pitch was one of the best yet shocking the sharks had ever heard of.
Even Robert Herjavec said that Biran has got to be one of the best, if not THE best pitchers in Shark Tank history. He came up with the offer of $650,000 for 5% of the company.
This offer initially shocked the sharks but then when Brian Lim got down to explaining his idea and how he had started with 100 dollars and had become a company that grossed over $13 Million! In the year 2015, they were projected to earn 5.5 Million.
This was even before Brian pitched his idea on Shark Tank so he had some impressive facts and figures to back up his claim for $650,000.
Brian mostly talked about the LED Gloves as they were the primary product, but he was pitching for both his companies EmazingLights and I HeartRaves: A Party Apparel company that made over $1.4 Million in 2013 and 2015’s target was to achieve $2.5 Million. His pitch at Shark Tank blew the sharks away. Finally, Brian Lim settled down for a deal from Sharks Mark Cuban and Daymond John for $650,000 for 5% equity in the company and 20% of the revenue made from licensing deals. Initially he turned down Kevin’s offer of loan for $650,000.

So Brian Lim decided that he would build an empire with art form at its heart. Most of the Sharks thought that Gloving was a trend or a Fad that would soon disappear but admired Brian’s ambition of pushing through and making bank using this fad.

EmazingLights was 90% online, while it had two functioning retail stores. It already owned 80% of the gloving industry. The company had competitors, but they couldn’t compete simply because the light programming in the gloves was patented by EmazingLights.
Brian Lim also clarifies in front of the Sharks that he wants one of them to partner up with his company and that he doesn’t want any loans. He had never taken a loan for his company before!
In short, before Shark Tank, this company was a million-dollar company that grossed over $13 million and was slowly going global as the trend of gloving was going global.
What happened to EmazingLights Gloves after the shark tank?
Right after the pitch at Shark Tank, EmazingLights had a boom in their business. This is because of the exposure this company got on National Television. With Mark Cuban’s guidance, the company was able to expand and grow.
