She meets with an accident while driving over the bridge in search of her friend. This leads her to travel to a parallel world where she wakes up as an ordinary working-class woman who has nothing to her name. When she meets Qi Lian, though mysterious, she helps her understand the shift of her world and her identity.
On losing her education, family background, appearance, and identity, Jiang Xiao Yuan sets out to discover the pieces of her real identity and world, overcoming multiple hurdles along the way, with Qi Lian assisting her with an agenda of his own.

With his help, she tries to find answers to all questions regarding her circumstances and find her identity in the chaos. The flow of the story without ”derailing” from its original plotline, which is deep and mysterious, makes this a binge-worthy watch for fans or viewers who are into the mystery plus romance genre.
