Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction is a manga of the shounen genre which used to be published weekly in Shogakukan’s seinen magazine.
It was drawn by Mangaka Inio Asano and was released from April 2014 until February 2022. The story revolves around two teenage girls whose lives are turned upside down following an unbelievable Alien invasion although they were aware of their situation, the brutal reality didn’t seem to have seeped into their veins by then.
They kept going on with their monotonous routines pretending that things would get better. The manga delves into deep philosophical topics like the real meaning of life, the purpose of human life, and other such metaphysical questions.

Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction Season 1 Release Date
Production +h had declared back in March 2022 that the manga Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction would be presented as a two-part movie and would be aired in April 2024, The director, scriptwriter, and animation director, all seemed to have been decidedly already and some of them are the best ones in the industry.
Hence we can expect a good storyline as well as detailed animation in the movie. The seiyuu casting hasn’t been done yet but Tomoyuki Kurokawa and Reiko Yoshida are in charge of supervising it. The fans can sleep in peace 2024 is not very far away now. Only time will decide if the movie will be a show stealer or an untimely failure.

As mentioned earlier the manga is going to be adapted into the movies. We can expect the first movie to be at least cover the first 6 tankobons(volume) of the story.
The story begins when a bunch of innocuous aliens in their huge space shuttle emerge over the Tokyo sky scaring the living daylight out of the citizens.
And obviously without having any confrontation with them, without even trying to understand their point of view, their purposes or motivations, the humans come to the conclusion that they are outright threats that have come to wipe out their race and take over the planet.
Because that is what human nature is, they suspect any foreign element without a second thought and don’t even spare them the chance to explain themselves.
Riots sprang up throughout the country. The national team of Forces in Japan began to brainstorm for a way to drive the aliens out of their planet.
Now our two protagonists Koyama Kadode and Nakagawa Ouran are quite unfazed(instead interested) by all this. They try to live their lives as nonchalantly as ever.
But reality can’t be avoided forever. They soon try to understand that humans are not saints and that maybe human beings, not the aliens are the real problem here. They are manipulative, self-conceited creatures who like to blame others for their misdeeds.
The series has a lot of depth as it tries to inculcate human values within the readers and prompts them to ask questions about themselves.

The story begins with a flashback from three years ago. The people of Tokyo were perfectly content with living their normal average lives.
Normal might sound boring to us but to them, it was perfectly peaceful and harmonious. Little did they know that their peace was short-lived.
Unbeknownst to them, a giant UFO had entered the planet which soon took over the blue sky of Tokyo making the surroundings dark and gloomy.
Any foreign creature that dared to threaten the peace of humanity is always viewed as a nuisance and a potential threat to them and so these harmless alien creatures ended up becoming victims to their collective hatred.
Back to the present time Koyama Kadode and Nakagawa Ouran are two free-spirited teenage girls living in a world where they are supposedly being hunted by the other species.
The invasions didn’t seem to have had a huge impact on their lives as they kept living their lives as normal human beings, attending school, going out, hanging out with friends etc.
Even in a world where humanity is on the verge of perishing, they seem so detached from reality and content with their own lives.
There is a huge focus on the contrast shown between these two girls’ lives and the rest of the world trying to gain an upper hand on the aliens.
