What is the storyline of Date A Live
The story starts when Shido Itsuka is woken up by his sister Kotori. Shido is our typical handsome boy wanted by all ladies. He was tense because many space quakes were taking the lives of people. After a life-threatening incident, Shido learns that Kotori is a leader of an intelligence organization.
Shido got to know that there are powerful girls known as Spirits behind every space quake attack. To counterattack these spirits, there is a military organization named AST. Kotori wants to control spirits by making them fall in love with her brother.
Love experts guided Shido to control the spirits. Shido makes his first spirit friend Tohka. To seal her power, Kotori asks Shido to kiss her. After this, Tohka’s ability was locked. Now Shido’s life mission was to kiss spirits and seal their powers.
Later on, we got to know that Kotori was also a spirit. The turn of events will give you a shock. Shido can control the power of the spirits which he sealed. A singing idol spirit appeared, and she happened to be a lesbian. To conquer the spirit, Shido also was changed into a girl.
They become friends and decide to rescue Tohka. The WET group abducted her. They were using her as a guinea pig for their experiment. They made her a demon king, but thanks to Shido, he rescued her.
