Keitaro Gentago has absolute loathing for ghosts, but unfortunately, he is a spirit medium too. He was a victim of really scary spirit possession in the past, and the danger, coupled with the terrifying experience, made him all anti-social and androphobic.
Post graduation Keitaro decides to overcome his barrier, and he enrolls himself as a tutor to assimilate into society again. Eiko is one of Keitaro’s dear friends from childhood and has helped him a lot throughout his earlier years.
By strange fate, Keitaro’s first student is Yayoi Hozuki. Yayoi is Eiko’s cousin, and as if it’s all about fate, he finds out a dangerous ghostly aura emanating around her. Yayaoi demands her tutor that she wants to visit a haunted place.
Knowing his predicament, Keitaro refuses to go to the haunted site. However, Yayaoi doesn’t like that and complains about him to the organization for tutors, he is threatened about his job, and he has no option left but to visit the haunted place with her and accept her wishes unconditionally.
Yayaoi, unlike Keitaro, is attracted to the spirit as she is yearning to learn about a certain ghost who has taken away her mother. While the trip to the haunted place proves a very suitable opportunity for her Yayaoi, it makes Keitaro stray further away from his original purpose dragging him into another mess.
