The Forger Family is back! Excitement is continuously building as Spy x Family’s season 2 release date has been confirmed. The second season is confirmed to be released on October 7, 2023, at 23:00 Japan time. With only just a few weeks to go (as of writing), it’s no wonder that more and more people are looking forward to D-day. The series has transcended borders and language barriers, and stating that it’s become a cultural phenomenon is an overstatement.

As the master spy and the family’s patriarch, Twilight had to navigate not only perilous missions but also the complexities of fatherhood. His determination to protect his loved ones and his remarkable spy skills made him a character fans couldn’t help but root for.
Yor Forger
Yor, the deadly assassin masquerading as Twilight’s wife, added layers of intrigue to the story. Her past as a ruthless killer and her desire for a normal family life provided a compelling contrast to her character. Her journey to balance her deadly skills with her newfound role as a mother was highlighted in the first season.
Anya Forger
The telepathic wonder, Anya, was the heart and soul of the Forger family. Her innocent curiosity and her yearning for a loving family were both heartwarming and humorous. Her growth throughout the season, both in terms of her telepathic abilities and her emotional connection with her so-called parents, was a central focus.
Bond Forger
Bond is the beloved dog, resembling the Great Pyrenees, of the Forger family. He was a part of a laboratory experiment that provided him with precognition abilities. Bond and Anya is a duo we never knew we needed.
What’s in Store for Season 2?
Based on the official poster that was released, season two will cover two major story arcs in the manga: the Cruise Adventure Arc and the Imperial Scholar Mixer Arc.
Basically, it’s a continuation of the previous storyline, but the real treat is when they embark on a cruise as a family, yet Yor is on a mission to be a family mafia’s bodyguard on a cruise ship.
It will be an exciting and interesting season as Yor tries to hide her true identity from Anya and Loid.
The Big Suprise(Release Date)
Aside from season two, it was revealed that there will be a movie spin-off called Spy x Family Code: White, which will be released on December 22, 2023. A trailer has already been released, which offers a sneak peek into the upcoming adventure.
The story will revolve around Loid, Anya, and Yor embarking on a culinary journey filled with cooking competitions and delicious desserts. Anya’s curiosity is sure to get the family into some humorous and possibly tricky situations.
Where Can You Watch Season 2 of Spy x Family?
You will be able to watch Spy x Family Season 2 on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix. In some areas, you probably need to wait a few hours after the release time in Japan. Hopefully, it will also be available on other streaming platforms like Dish TV, Go Latino TV, and others in the near future.
