Who is John Nettles?

John Nettles, full name John Vivian Drummond Nettles, OBE, is an accomplished British author and actor. His full name is John Vivian Drummond Nettles. On October 11th, 1943, he was born in England. He is best recognized for his roles as a detective in the crime drama television series Bergerac (1981–1991). He played the title character and in Midsomer Murders (1997–2011), in which he played Detective Inspector Tom Barnaby. He has also provided the narration for a number of other television shows.
