At that moment, he prays for supernatural intervention and soon recognizes his own wish being granted as he finds himself ten years back in time before the accident took place.
With determination to change the past, SuanSoon does everything to make sure Ongsa learns about the impending disaster, but it turns out that Ongsa doesn’t trust him, still becoming friends with him again.
Ten years later, right before the accident happens, future Ongsa comes back in time to tell his younger self not to avoid the accident. Ongsa lets the accident happen because it is the only way to save SuanSoon’s life.
Ongsa’s death devastates SuanSoon, but he is glad he could love him. It is one day, he receives a mystery letter from Ongsa. In that letter, he had told him that he shouldn’t lose hope in love and that he would always be with him forever.
Filled with hopes, SuanSoon realizes that he will never put down the memory of Ongsa from his mind. He now makes up his mind to live a life full of happiness and treasure their love every single moment.
What Happened at the End of Absolute Zero (2023) Season 1?
At the end of Absolute Zero, Suan Soon finally manages to be with Ongsa. They have been able to surmount all of the obstacles that came on their way and can now tell each other how they feel.
However, Ongsa’s happiness ends when he learns that a terminal illness has been diagnosed in him. SuanSoon is shattered, but he is resolved to make good time during the remaining days they have together.
In the final scene of the drama, SuanSoon and Ongsa are lying on a bed made up of flowers, looking at the heavens above them. Ongsa informs SuanSoon that he is not scared of dying as he will always be there with him.
On kissing Ongsa, SuanSoon and him embrace each other just as stars didn’t stop twinkling above them. The end of Absolute Zero is bittersweet but also holds hope within it. Through their love story, SuanSoon and Ongsa reveal that love can be victorious even when faced with adversities.
