Storyline of Trigger Point: What it able to be about?
Trigger Point, as the title states is the point at which everything gets altered because of one decision. The plot revolves around the Metropolitan Police Bomb squad, which is headed by an Afghan war veteran and an ex-military bomb disposal operative (EXPO) expert, Lana Washington.
The squad comes face to face with bomb threats from terrorists, other threats regarding the production of bombs in a factory, false threats and threats to their families.

Trigger Point had an explosive start with the bomb squad called in to check a Bomb factory. While they try to run to a place to detonate the bomb, they are informed about another place.
Time is ticking away as they blink, and on reaching there the squad gets to know that this situation is not easy to end. They get to know about a third place where another bomb is apparently about to go off while working on the second site.
Lana hard-carried the plot in episode 1 of season one, providing a strong foundation for the upcoming episodes of season one. Unfortunately, the bomb goes off injuring the squad with Lana coming to face the loss of her close friend and colleague Joel Nutkins.

As we get into the show, we come across the extremist group called The Crusaders, and a family member of Lana- her brother being attached to the group, through a series of unfortunate events.
Trying her best to run from pillar to post to stop the terrorist group, after each threat, she ends up losing her brother to another bomb attack. She gets in touch with her former friend and ex-military colleague Karl Maguire, while coping with the loss of both her friend and brother.
During the finale, it is revealed that Maguire was responsible for the bombings during a confrontation scene of him wearing the bomb vest and threatening to detonate it at the University of South London.
Maguire shared his notion of planning the bombings to seek revenge for an ambush attack that took place in Afghanistan and intends to fight against those who are working and supporting the system.
But in the end, he is killed before detonating the bomb, closing the raising doubts about the bomber in season one.

The cat-and-mouse chase begins with a bomb exploding at the center of the city, and they get a lead about the terrorist cell they were trying to track.
With tensions ensuing and a nail-biting twist in each episode, Lana gets kidnapped by the terror cell in the finale of season 2, keeping the lives of millions at stake and her duty as a police bomb squad captain.
