While they are eating, they hear Park Sangho’s voice relaying the deployment order for intermediate-level Heroes. A cadet named Chae Nayun finds herself falling behind her peers after learning her performance is subpar. Park Sangho, who is after him, is the one they pursue.

Five limestone golems, all of grade 5 or above (low-intermediate) or higher, get into a battle. Self-compression is a unique feature of the golems that makes them more compact and powerful. The golem’s fist collides with Chae Nayun’s sword, and the golem counters with a kick. Even though Chae Nayun is protected by a layer of qi, the golem nevertheless attacks her.

Aether wraps her arms around Chae Nayun’s waist and draws her closer. She is stunned and clings to her desperately, silently encouraging her to fight. A copy of the paper, which is mostly made up of mathematical equations and phrases, is delivered to Yi Jin-Ah. Hajin-SSI is thought to be number one. Thus, it is up to her to prove it. She is provided with a sheet of paper on which to record the steps of the computation and its outcomes.

Park Sangho provides her with a paper despite Yi Jin-Ah’s reluctance to do so. They ultimately force her out of the analysis room, but not before she has proven her case.

The next time Yi Jin-Ah rides the elevator, she runs across another familiar face: Chae Nayun. Yoo Yeonha attempts to explain to her why Chae Nayun won’t be there, and she seems shocked to see him. She then politely requests that she use the toilet, but the other person sneaks away. Yoo Jinhyuk, a private broker, is looking into the tragedy that befell Kim Hajin 16 years ago in the Kwang-Oh Fortress area. Monsters caused the deaths of 87 bystanders and nine heroes.

Yoo Jinhyuk became more invested in the investigation, and he worked tirelessly on it for a whole month without expressing any dissatisfaction. He uncovered vital information suggesting that the occurrence was not the work of Djinns but rather the result of human agency.

Yoo Jinhyuk knew Kim Sukho, Chae Joochul, and Yoo Taeho, the culpable parties in this tragedy.
