Tales of the Wedding Ring Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
Tales of the Wedding Rings is based on a manga series by author and illustrator Maybe. Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan serialized this manga in 2014. Currently, it has 14 volumes. Crunchyroll and Yen Press are publishing this manga in English.

Satou is deeply in love with his childhood friend, Hime, but he doesn’t confess it. One day, Hime announces that she is moving. He follows her and eventually enters into a different realm. It is none other than Hime’s actual home, the Light Kingdom.
She was about to marry a prince when Satou arrived and crashed the wedding. At that moment, a demon attack ensued, targeting Hime. Without thinking much, she kissed him and gave him the wedding ring. He becomes the new hero and defeats the demon.
She explained her world is now under attack by demons, so she has to marry a prince and give him power. Satou is now the prince who will be the hero of immense power. But one setback is that he has to marry four other princesses to gain more power.
More attacks ensue in the Light Kingdom. As their marriage is just a formality, Satou doesn’t possess much power. He had to gain more rings from the other princesses.
Tales of Wedding Rings Episode Recap?
The anime starts in their childhood days when Satou witnessed Himeko and her grandfather coming from a different world. 10 years later now the two are best friends. Satou has a deep feeling for Hime.
He didn’t confess because Hime had a ring with her. After the summer festival, she revealed that she was leaving forever. Satou saw her entering a realm. Before going she revealed her real name and her purpose of leaving.
He immediately followed her to the realm. In the Ring Kingdom, he saw Hime ready to get married to the Imperial Prince Marmarugius.
A demon suddenly started to attack the wedding hall targeting Hime. To save Satou from the demon, Hime quickly kissed him and gave him the ring as she had no other way to save him. The prince threw Satou a sword, with which he defeated the demon.

Satou is now declared Hime’s husband, the Hero of Light and King of Light Kingdom. With so much risk involved, he accepted the title and decided to protect Hime. Hime, on the other hand, slowly kicks feeling for Satou. Yet she tells him it’s just a formality and nothing else.
More danger comes on the way to the Kingdom, and Grandfather Alabaster prepares Satou for danger.
In Episode 2 Knight of Abyss King attacks them. Satou along with Hime, her grandmother and Marmarugius had to flee the kingdom.
The ring draws energy from Satou as the marriage is just a formality. They have no strong bond so Satou is just now powerless. Grandfather Alabaster revealed that he has to marry four other princesses to gain the ring of power.
The truth behind this is that the Ring King created the rings to seal away the demon king. The rings are divided into five princesses and he then created five different kingdoms.
Hime was upset and blamed herself for all the causes. Satou confessed his love and Hime immediately reciprocated.
They will go to Romka kingdom, where the elf princess has the Wind Ring. However, a wind barrier of Romka always prevents anyone other than elves from entering the kingdom. They are shown an underground passage by Sons of the Wind that will lead to the palace.
