Their hard work pays off when they receive an invitation to audition for CĂ©sar Marcolo’s record label. However, when Marcolo offers Deusa a solo contract, she must make a difficult choice between her career and her love life.
This situation sets the stage for an exciting and dynamic story that showcases the characters’ passion and drive to succeed.

What Happened at the End of Only for Love Season 1?
At the end of the show, Deusa and Tadeu officially break up when Deusa gives back her engagement ring to Tadeu before recording another song. Roberta (the lesbian character) confesses her love to Eva (the budding songwriter), who doesn’t reciprocate it, leaving Roberta heartbroken but with a successful career ahead.
Eva finds her mom and discovers the ugly truth that Ana Ligia (her mom) abandoned her because she wasn’t ready to be a mother, and all these years, Ana Ligia never made an effort to find her estranged daughter.
As for Eva, Ana Ligia realizes that Eva is a better lead singer than Roberta, so she tries to intervene in the band but is soon shut down. As for Nelton, he realizes he is gay after hanging out with Rafael but fails to come out in front of Luana, his fiance.
However, after a fight with his half-brother, Valdo, about their father being in jail, Nelton musters up the courage and comes out to Valdo, who accepts him. Patricio and Sonia break up, and Patricio falls in love with Gorete, to whom, when he proposes, tells him that she is already married, thus ending their love story as well.

What Can We Expect from Only for Love Season 2?
In Season 1 of Only for Love, the story of Deusa and Tadeu was more emphasized, and the story felt to go in one direction with little emphasis given to the subplots. The creator has concentrated more on the Brazilian musical heritage than the relations between the band members.
The show introduces LGBTQIA+ characters, but Season 2 might adequately explore their plots. That one Lesbian character (Roberta) felt like an outsider and didn’t really seem to have a proper ending.
Thus, in Only for Love Season 2, the stories of the band members will be explored more, new love stories will form and the show will emphasize the LGBTQIA + culture. All we expect is that Season 2, when released, will be a fun watch.
